"Rough onboarding experience"
Our onboarding was frustrating. Implementation ended up taking way longer than what we were originally told, and the whole process felt scattered. There was a lot of waiting around, and when we asked questions, the answers were either vague or not really helpful. What made it worse was that support sometimes made it feel like the delays or confusion were on us, which didn’t sit well. Not the smooth start we were hoping for.

"I reached out to support thinking I’d..."
I reached out to support thinking I’d get a quick response, but it took way longer than I expected. I ended up waiting around without a clear answer and had to follow up more than once, which got frustrating fast. When something needs fixing, I really expect support to be more responsive
"Useful tool, but the price is hard to justify"
I’ve been using Trovata for a bit, and overall it does what it’s supposed to do. The dashboard is straightforward, the cash visibility is helpful, and it’s nice to have things in one place instead of jumping between bank portals, spreadsheets, emails, and random reports. For example, checking balances is easy, reviewing cash trends is smooth, and pulling up information for planning meetings saves some time. That said, the pricing feels steep for what we’re actually getting. Some features are genuinely useful, like the reporting, the forecasting views, and the account organization, but for a smaller team like ours, it’s hard to make the monthly cost make sense. It’s one of those tools where I like it when I’m using it, but then I see the bill and start thinking about spreadsheets, bank exports, or even simpler finance tools again. I expected a little more value, more automation, more standout features, or more flexibility for the price.

"Couldn’t really trust the forecasts"
I wanted this to make cash planning easier, and at times it looked like it might help, but the forecasts were off often enough that it just left us second-guessing everything. It was frustrating because some parts seemed useful, but then we’d make plans around the numbers and they wouldn’t line up. In the end, it felt more annoying than worth the time.

"This is driving me a little crazy..."
This is driving me a little crazy. I’ll connect my bank, think everything’s fine, and then suddenly it drops again. Super annoying when I just want it to work without babysitting it.

"Accounting sync ended up being a hassle"
trovata definitely looks nice and is easy to get around, but the accounting sync was more frustrating than I expected. Our ERP integrations were slow, and some of the numbers didn’t match up, so we still had to go back and double-check things manually. Support did try to help at first, but it dragged on, and there wasn’t much follow-up after that. It’s not a terrible tool, but the whole process just didn’t feel as smooth as it should have
"Kind of hard to navigate"
I had a tough time getting around it because even the basic stuff wasn’t obvious to me and I kept clicking around trying to figure out where things were, what I was supposed to do next, and why simple options felt harder to find than they should.

"Ended up taking more time than it saved"
I was hoping this would actually make things easier, but the automation barely worked for me. What made it more frustrating was how unclear the communication was around setup and what to expect, so I kept wasting time trying to figure out whether I was doing something wrong or the tool just wasn’t working. In the end, it felt like more of a time sink than a time saver.

"Cash view felt more confusing than helpful"
I tried it mainly to get a clearer view of our cash, but the numbers felt kind of messy and hard to trust. There was also some extra stuff in there that felt unnecessary. It just didn’t really work for us

"Couldn’t get useful reports out of it"
We tried Trovata mainly for reporting and dashboards, but in practice it just didn’t work well for how we needed to use it. I spent a lot of time trying to build the views we wanted, and it always felt more clunky than it should have. The dashboard updates were also a little confusing, so it was hard to feel confident in what we were looking at. After using it for a while, it just didn’t feel worth the time for our team.
